Questions

Do you really not charge per user?
No. Invite your whole team, your freelancers and your clients' stakeholders; the price is the same. Clients, projects, tickets and invoices are unlimited too. The only things metered are storage and, once it launches, the AI assistant.
Why will AI be a separate add-on?
The assistant is not on sale yet; the metering comes first. When it launches it stays separate because it is the one feature with a real per-use cost, and bundling it means the people who never open the assistant pay for the people who live in it. Add it, change tier or drop it any month.
What will count as an AI query?
Once the add-on launches: one message you send to the assistant is one query, however many lookups it makes to answer you. Queries are shared across your whole team and reset on the 1st of each month.
What happens when the AI queries run out?
Once the add-on launches: nothing else stops working; only the assistant pauses. Buy a pack of 100 queries for $9, or move up a tier and the difference is prorated. The assistant screen shows where you are at any time.
What counts toward storage?
File attachments, synced email, database imports and backups. Your records themselves, contacts, tickets, invoices and time logs, do not count, so normal use never hits the limit. Loom recordings do not count either: the video stays in Loom and com1 keeps the link. Screen recordings from the Mac app do count, since com1 stores the video; ten minutes at 1080p is roughly 300 MB. Teams that hit the limit are usually syncing years of mailboxes; set how long synced mail is kept, or add 25 GB for $5 a month.
Do you support Malaysian e-invoicing (MyInvois)?
Yes, on both plans: digital certificate management, TIN validation and direct submission to LHDN. No upgrade tier, no add-on.
What is in com1 Platform?
Everything in com1, plus the infrastructure side: servers, containers, SSL and custom domains, mail on your own domains, scheduled backups, databases, S3 buckets and your AWS account, all next to the tickets and invoices of the same client. It also unlocks custom fields, lead scoring, custom roles, project-level access and priority support. Servers run in your own AWS account, so that bill stays yours.
Can I change plans any time?
Yes. A plan change takes effect on the next billing cycle and your data is always kept. The AI add-on, once it launches, changes or cancels on its own without touching the plan.
Is there a free trial?
Yes: 14 days on either plan with every feature unlocked. No card, and the subscription never starts on its own. Payments are handled by Paddle.
Can the AI run without sending our data outside Malaysia?
On request, for semantic search and the indexing behind it. By default those run through an external provider, listed on the sub-processors page , and only after the account owner turns AI features on. For teams with strict data-residency requirements the model can run on dedicated infrastructure in Malaysia instead, so the content never leaves the region. The conversational assistant still uses a hosted model. Arranged per engagement rather than sold as a tier; write to [email protected].
